Sissy Femme Altar
Hey there all my sis gurls, panty pets and femme worshipping lovers of all things girly! Today I wanted to talk about making a special place for your sissified side not just literally but figuratively as well. It’s a way to make room for your passion.
Why have a femme altar?
- You can use an altar as an interactive way to engage and energize your inner feminine power.
- It reminds you to take some time to enjoy and experience all that inspires you and help to manifest that magic into your daily life.
- It’s a nondenominational form of sissy spirituality, pondering, honoring the divine inside yourself and the femme essence that can be used in conjunction with any spiritual path you are on or as a standalone way to connect to the aspects of yourself that you want to be more in touch with.
Where to get started?
Online sites like tumblr and Pinterest have wonderful ideas
Examples of what you may like to use:
- Ritualized cosmetics charged with positive intent.
- Mantras and your sissy scrapbook/ diary of your journeys en femme.
- Scarves for dramatic draping.
- Sissy assignments.
- Fave accessories.
- Erotic toys.
- Collages, art, and poems whatever you create.
- Pampering kits like organic bubble bath, lip gloss, fragrant oils etc.
- Whatever makes you feel fabulous and fem-tastic. You can change it up as often as you like. There is no right or wrong way to do this!
I have on mine currently:
- My dragon earrings that act like a talisman when I feel I need protection and courage.
- Goddess nergy oracle cards.
- A summertime painting of the beach.
- Seashells.
- Body jewels that I wear with my bikini.
- Handmade potpourri satchels.
- Origami lotus flowers –they are so meditative to make and are great for feeling centered and grounded.
- Cinnamon incense.
- Candles.
Now I completely understand the lifestyle limitations some of you have regarding the lack of space and privacy but my dears there are ways to circumvent potential problems it just takes some a little pixie dust and ingenuity!
In a case like that try making micro altars that can fit within an altoids box or a drawer or a special locked treasure chest.
Pictures below: A large Venus altar, medium box altar and an old Altoid case portable altar. Just like femmes they come in all different shapes and sizes.
Interesting post! However, I think this post perfectly sums up the steps in which you can isolate you from everyone else :/ isolation although may seem fun, has left me feeling empty. This is just my experience that I’m pulling from though.
I agree wholeheartedly that if one doesn’t express one’s inner desires it can be very isolating indeed. However the idea of having a special section in your life for your femme self isn’t suppose to be a means of segregation. Quite the opposite actually. It’s a way to keep that light alive and in time can act as a connective chrysalis to transform one’s life in whatever direction one feels drawn to; a way to work out feelings & see where they lead.
In fact many of my callers have elaborate altars and share them with their lovers, friends and family. While some prefer their sacred space more private or in some cases are not yet comfortable with showing it off, or just prefer not to. Like I said there is no right or wrong way to go about it -it’s all a matter of personal preference and individual needs as well as desires.
There is always a way to incubate your inner femme and let it shine. You can choose to bring it out or highlight those facets on your own or even a combination of both depending on your mood. Our body is the ultimate temple that houses the feminine and masculine duality of each & every one of us and the altars are just a tangible outlet to bring about mindfulness to that which we wish to project and amplify, ignite and explore. One way doesn’t preclude the other.

I don’t have an alter? What is it? Does it involve you & the other mistresses feminizing me? As of now I can’t find the time to call or do anything fun:( my cards takeover a month to clear payment as they don’t get mailed 1-2 before due date. To sum it up I’m being spread to thin and its worn me out
An altar is just a physical representation of your femme side that makes you feel connected to those feminine aspects of your psyche.
The Mistresses and I have you all dolled-up and in touch with your fabulous femme feelings & yumminess don’t ya think? 😉 You totally have plenty of goodies you could use to make yours. I just added a new coral necklace I made to mine as well as a poem I found online. Give it a go to reenergize and invigorate your sexy, sissy self 🙂
An altar….what a beautiful idea, Miss Fiona! I don’t think it would necessarily isolate you (as the original commenter suggested), not anymore than anything else could. One could spend time alone doing any number of things away from people and isolate themselves. An altar is a place of memories and meditation and it just sounds like a place set aside that is uniquely yours, someplace to recharge and center yourself. I love the pics you posted!
So glad you enjoyed it! I always feel so centered after I take some time to tend to it and smile when out of the corner of my eye I catch a glimpse of what display I have out for the day. It’s sort of like gardening in that it makes that feel of femininity flourish (but without the required green thumb thankfully) 😉
I will do it, a small one. For me, this will be the opposite of isolation ; something tangibly feminine will be out in the “real” world. If it is in a special place, an altar, that makes it (my femininity) all the more real. Btw, what were the words that were written inside of your altoids box?
Oh that was a sample pic I found from a art and crafts site that inspired me to make a mini female energy altar & other small tin display panoramas. It’s a great way to up-cycle candy tins.
The quote says, “The goddess is inside you and she is smiling” 😉
I really love this blog post, Ms. Fiona! I haven’t seen or heard anyone else at LDW talking about something like this. I think a little altar would be perfect for our resident femmes, even if it is something as tiny as an Altoids box. To always have a “place” to go that honors the feminine side is very special!
Thank you gorgeous! It’s so much fun to make and change up especially for the 4 seasons.
This is a very healthy ritual for all femmes and those in transition. It is such a good feeling to know you have a special place to escape and reconnect. Because as we all know the world can be cruel. So if you can seek solace by adopting this path the more inner peace you will develop.
Yes pretty lady I think so and anything that brings inner peace sounds like a great idea.
How clever Miss F! I have written and encourage our sissy friends, to go beyond the clothing – and sissify their environment. But an alter to their femininity is a refreshing and inspiring idea.
It could be as simple as a single pink rose in a vase – or grand as the Taj Mahal – it will be a daily reminder of who they are in their hearts.
Hope to see you at the Sissy Pageant on the 25th!
Oh yes! That sounds like a wonderful idea lovely! A rose in a vase is the perfect minimalistic but still dramatic statement and of course a Taj Mahal of femininity is enticing as well. 😉
My female altar is disguised as a man cave. My walls are covered with posters of sexy women I love, lust, and admire. But I secretly know I want to BE them. Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Christina Ricci, Alyson Hannigan, Liv Tyler, Michelle Trachtenberg, and more. And, of course, Janet Weiss.
Very savvy!! You are so clever xoxo
